Date of Stay: August 2011 We had such a lovely holiday in your fabulous apartment. The apartment was beautiful, just what we wanted. Set in the historic charm of the old part of the town, in the centre of the hubbub and perfectly placed to reach the best restaurants and an easy stroll to the wonderful beach. The aprtment is stylish and wonderfully maintained. We definately intend to use it again! The Gibbs' family

Date of Stay: August 2011 The owner was extremely helpful and answered all my queries promptly. The apartment is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The Spanish like to socalise very late at night, which can be noisy! Although two of the bedrooms completely blocked the sound and light with thick shutters, the loft room was not as well insulated. There are six balconies surrounding the apartment, which were fun for people watching, but may be a worry for those with younger children.
We loved being in the centre of the old town, and always found plenty of places to eat and drink. The town is very authentically Spanish which we loved. Not many of the Spanish people there spoke English, but we had our 16 year old daughter with us who had just taken her GCSE Spanish, so that proved to be very helpful!
There is a huge clean beach just 5 minutes walk away which we went to most days.
We didn't hire a car and made good use of the local buses which are cheap and efficient.
The area is really pretty, and surprisingly green (it often reminded us of Wales or Cornwall!). The weather can be a bit changeable as it is next to the sea and mountains, but any rain quickly cleared and it always remained warm, and often hot.
We spent our last day enjoying the annual Flower Festival which was great fun. It is a huge event in this area, with dozens of colourful floats, a big market and lots of bands playing in the streets.
All in all, we had a wonderful holiday. Relaxing and fun and a genuine taste of real Spain! Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
